Hi, thanks for dropping by. We’re Greener Landscaping and we specialize in garden renovations that bring life and functionality to your outdoor spaces.
Our expertise lies in creating custom-built wooden raised garden beds. In fact, we’re known on the Sunshine Coast as the garden bed experts.
Whether you love our top-of-the-line bespoke timber beds or want to explore, other durable options like corrugated iron raised garden beds and colorbond raised garden beds we can help you. Let us transform your garden into a productive, low-maintenance space that fits your lifestyle.
You simply cannot beat raised garden beds for growing things easily and efficiently. If you spend lots of time in your garden hand watering, or tending to irrigation casualties, it might be time to upgrade to wicking beds? Why?
Because self-watering raised garden beds are the secret to lush, abundant growth all year round.
And here are a couple of other compelling reasons:
If you go one step further and graduate from a planter box that needs hand watering or reticulated irrigation, to a wicking bed, you have an even more efficient way to ensure healthy, thriving plants.
No wonder our highly regarded and extremely popular wicking garden beds have become one of the cornerstones of our Sunshine Coast garden renovations.
Self-watering beds reduce the need for daily maintenance. They will help your garden stay lush with minimal effort, and make them perfect for you if you’re a busy homeowner. Even great if you like eco-friendly options.
Take a look at this amazing example. Christine already had traditional raised beds at her place. They are the ones on the left. She has to water these ones.
On the right, just check out the absolutely gob-smackingly different state of the plants. What’s the difference? Those 4 beds have a self-watering wicking system. This means that Christine only makes sure there is water in her beds, about once a week. The plants take care of the rest. They are never thirsty and they take the water as they need it.
The plants are obviously more healthy and more vibrant and abundant. The difference is incredible. Even in our harsh Sunshine Coast conditions, you can easily make sure your plants will stay hydrated. In summer it can get so hot. You can keep water to your plants without wetting and burning the leaves.
It’s such a win-win situation.
Look at this amazing demonstration of the power of investing in a self-watering wicking raised garden bed. The above picture is a bed that needs hand watering. The plants are barely growing and they were here months before we installed the adjacent beds. Take a look >>>>>>>>>>
Within weeks, the growth in these beautiful self-watering beds outstripped the existing bed.
All Christine needs to do is water the beds about once a week (and a little more often in the summer months).
We affixed metal frames so that Christine can grow vines like indeterminate tomato varieties, cucumbers, beans, peas and pumpkins… and anything else that needs staking like eggplants.
Look how easy it is to water. Just attach your hose to the inlet. The little outlet at the top is the overflow. Fill until the water drips from the overflow.
This means your plants don’t get thirsty, and you avoid many problems of watering from the top, like fungus, mould, powdery mildew and other common problems.

OK, so you want self-watering beds and want to know if we can build them for you with corrugated iron. Yes, we can do that for you. If you want an alternative to timber raised garden beds, then another long-lasting and stylish garden feature can be found in corrugated iron raised garden beds or colorbond raised garden beds.
